Internal comms is hugely powerful but so often it is overlooked. We’ve teamed-up with commscamp sponsors dxw to draw-up a new survey to map where we all are.

Just how bad is your intranet? It’s a question we’re asking along with web experts dxw.

Ask anyone what their intranet is like and you’re likely to get a roll of the eyes and a venting of spleen.

The simple truth is that public sector intranets tend not to be very good. Set up before the banking crisis and creaking under the weight of pdfs they soldier on. Unloved and hard to navigate swiftly they are the M6 of the internet.

And yet it is so important. As the Government Communication Services’ IC Space says: "Employee engagement is about more than job satisfaction.

"t’s about the two-way relationship between the employee and your organisation.  Getting it right will have a positive impact on organisational performance, innovative thinking and a commitment to delivery."

All this is why we are running a survey on intranets to see what you think.

Is yours getting better?

Is yours getting worse?

How easy is yours to navigate?

What would a good intranet look like?

It takes three minutes to complete our commscamp / dxw survey and we’ll send you a copy of the results. That’s about the time it takes to make a sup of tea. So put the kettle on and tell us how your intranet is HERE.
